Fiduciary, by design.
Advice offered through a Registered Investment Advisor, held to the standard of acting in your best interest — not a sales quota.
Spectra Private Wealth is an independent Advisory practice guiding individuals, families, and small businesses through every chapter of their financial life — with the quiet discipline of a steward and the long view of a partner.
Stewardship is older than finance. Before spreadsheets and portfolios there was the quiet work of people entrusted with what others had built. That idea — care on behalf of another — is the one we try to live up to every day.
01 — Philosophy
Advice offered through a Registered Investment Advisor, held to the standard of acting in your best interest — not a sales quota.
Allocation follows strategy. Strategy follows life. We start with the questions most firms skip: what is this wealth for?
Markets move in decades, not headlines. We build plans that can survive volatility — and clients who can, too.
Asset-based, hourly, or fixed — the structure that fits the engagement. Always explained, always in writing, never a surprise.
02 — Services
Comprehensive plans covering cash flow, taxes, insurance, education, and retirement — reviewed as life changes, not on a schedule.
Individualized portfolios for individuals and small businesses, constructed around your timeline, obligations, and tolerance for risk.
Income planning, tax-efficient withdrawals, Social Security timing, and the quiet arithmetic of making a portfolio last a lifetime.
Coordinating with estate counsel and CPAs on the transfer of wealth, businesses, and responsibility to the next generation.
03 — The Advisor
Troy Domangue is the founder and Wealth Advisor at Spectra Private Wealth. Before establishing the practice, he spent twenty-four years with J.P. Morgan Securities and JPMorgan Chase Bank — from August 1997 through April 2021 — guiding families through market cycles, career transitions, and the long arc of retirement.
He holds the Series 66 securities registration and is a registered investment advisor representative of Mutual Advisors, LLC — a platform with $6.8 billion in assets under management across 74 offices nationwide. Troy serves clients across Louisiana from his office in Bourg.

04 — The engagement
A 45-minute conversation, at no cost. We listen before we plan — to the numbers, and to everything around them.
We review what you have, what it’s doing, and what it could be doing. You receive a written summary regardless of whether you engage.
A plan and portfolio built for your specific balance sheet, horizon, and intentions — with every assumption made explicit.
Ongoing management, reviews, and course corrections. We expect to be your advisor for decades, not quarters.
05 — Begin a conversation
The first conversation is a discovery call — no paperwork, no pressure, no commitment. Most clients leave it with at least one idea they can use whether they engage us or not.
